I don't buy this argument:

A fig leaf for what really has happened. The rebranding (the "London" on the badge to make selling tickets to tourists through adverts in the Metro easier) is theft.
She knows what she has done, and I believe the 'no culture' remark was done knowingly too. It was ostensibly about 'business' culture, but she knows how media headlines are created and it was actually a coded put down to the fans and wink to her social circle. A great big "fuck off, you chavs".
She makes Paul Ince look like Di Canio.

While I don't agree everything she/they have done is bad, I do think they are trying to take the club's identity away from what it has been, and remodel it as something else. Which is a great shame.
The wheels of change are in motion, and they are not going to stop.

I couldn't disagree more, in fact this is the beginning of a civil war which custodians cannot win. They still need us, they won't have a full stadium without the core support and while I fully recognise they are attempting to change the face of us, they're going to be fought doing it.
The replies though are astonishing and I never realised what I bunch of wimps we had supporting the club. Willing to give rival fans a clump, but the minute something we cherish is in a tug-of-war for what is ours, I see people deserting.
One thing northerners do better then us is cause clubs grief and embarrassment when their clubs identity is in jeopardy. Now it's out turn,

I have been watching West Ham since I was 6 years old. I am now nearly 50.
I have seen us win the FA Cup once in that time.
The teams that win things (a freaky Leicester win apart) all have one thing in common, money. Lots of it.
They buy the best players and have the best grounds and get the best sponsorship.
I want us to win things, big things.
That means giving up on the past and embracing the new world, with lounges full of people paying £££ and being called a "customer".
I don't care.
I care about those 25 players playing well enough to win games.
I don't care about the romance of the Boleyn, or what is on the badge. I care less about Karren Brady and her personal views about anything.
Her job is to raise money for better players. The rest is irrelevant.

The big problem now is relegation this season will be an unmitigated disaster.
That is why I think Bilic has only two games to show he can turn this crisis round. There was not much evidence in the Middlesbrough game that he's got a grip on what's going wrong this season. Look out for Brady putting the pressure on soon for a change of manager,because i doubt she will want to hang around if there's another relegation on her watch. The fans' hostility then would be uncontrollable.

Spot on. It's understandable why someone would want to steal our club from us. What's pathetic, though, is the lack of fight fans are putting in.
Might too late now, but as a fan base we should have offered more organised resistance. As you can see by some of the replies, too many of us are just taking the 'suck it up' attitude. So she has got away with it.
It's our club. Not hers.

I think I'm somewhere between you and what the other lads are saying. I'm 53 and I've seen us win 2 FA Cups and have a couple of reasonable teams otherwise it's been pretty shit supporting the team you love. I must admit I thought the new stadium was going to bring a new phase to West ham and it still might do.
However, i do love the passion at West Ham. Take that away and we're doomed.

Actually lost count of the amount of people on here and who I know personally who say they're not bothering going any more.
This happens every year we play a bit shit I know, but I honestly reckon this time it'd be the same even if we were top of the league and winning every game 10-nil.
Think the cold reality is that people are moving on and in 2016 soccer clubs mean less to young men than they used to.
Fuck knows though, I can't comment cos I ain't been to a home game in fucking ages.

Well it is isn't it? I mean, people are moaning about having 'their' West Ham taken away from them. But actually in theory it's the same West Ham just a different location. It feels bloody odd for everyone. I have enjoyed the stadium but think the area around it is wank. Very sanitised and dull. But it is what it is.
We need to make sure the players, opponents, away fans and the board know who West Ham is actually for. And if we go there and make a load of racket and make it intimidating then it can still be that.
Let's be fair though, these people moaning about atmosphere, fuck me, Upton Park wasn't exactly rocking a lot of the time. Just football in general that.
